It’s been a while since I last wrote one of these, but before I start my properly, let me just re-introduce myself. I am Michael Grady, a 22-year-old journalism graduate and I currently work for as a web editor in London and I also work as a freelance football reporter for a national, albeit small and ever so slightly niche, newspaper. My first match was the Chelsea vs Liverpool clash on 26/10/08 and since then I have been covering matches on an increasingly regular basis.
I moved down to London from Newcastle in September and have juggled many, many jobs in my short time in the capital including stints handing out flyers and working behind a bar. I was living with my sister and her fiance for a few months before I found my own place, now I am living next door to a pub in North London with two girls; Kit and Kat. You couldn't make it up.
This blog, as the title gives away, will give me a chance to air my views and what’s been going on in my life.
Cheers for reading,
Mike.
